A TRIAL into the alleged rape of a woman by a Wantage rugby coach has collapsed after jurors failed to reach a verdict.
Tom Clipsham, 30, of Barwell, Wantage, denies one count of rape.
After 13 hours and 19 minutes the jury was discharged at Oxford Crown Court today with no decision forthcoming.
He will be re-tried in the autumn, starting on November 12.
