Elderly woman scares away burglar from Faringdon home
AN elderly woman scared away a burglar at her Faringdon home after shouting at him today.
Police said a man broke into a house in Church Street through an unlocked back door at about 5.30am.
He went into a bedroom but was confronted by the woman, forcing him to run away.
Nothing was stolen and no one was injured.
