TWO neighbours’ pottery exhibition at a Wantage museum is fast becoming an annual tradition.

Jo Bosley, 54, and Lyn Harrison have lived next door to each other on The Green, in Steventon, for 25 years.

They learned ceramics together under the tutelage of Pauline Thompson, of Ginge Brook Pottery, in East Hendred.

Now, Ms Harrison, 58, has a pottery at the bottom of her garden which they share, and open up during Oxfordshire Artweeks.

Ms Harrison said: “We have a similar style but we make our own things. We respect each other’s ideas, work well together and exhibit together.”

Their fourth annual show and sale at the Vale and Downland Museum will run from Tuesday, September 23, to Saturday, October 4. Notes From a Potter’s Diary is inspired by the seasons.

The museum is open from 9.30am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. Call 01235 771447 or go to wantage-museum.com
