Teenage cyclist taken to hospital after accident
9:12am Tuesday 27th March 2012 in Wallingford
A teenage girl was taken to hospital this morning after falling off her bike in Wallingford.
South Central Ambulance spokesman Gill Hodgetts said the accident happened at 6.45am near the junctions of Fir Tree Avenue and Atwell Close.
She said: “A car and a motorbike were also at the scene but it’s not clear yet if there was a collision or not.
“A 15-year-old girl has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but the extent of her injuries are not yet known.”
Traffic was diverted away from the area while emergency services were at the scene of the accident.
