OXFORDSHIRE County Council has not yet set a date for a by-election following the death of Watlington member Roger Belson over Christmas.
Mr Belson, 62, died on Boxing Day after a heart attack. The Conservative, who was paralysed in a car accident 22 years ago, had been a councillor since 2001.
