A commemorative flypast of six aircraft flew over RAF Benson this afternoon to mark the 75th anniversary of Battle of Britain Day.
The flypast – comprised of Hurricanes and Spitfires – was delayed for more than two hours because of bad weather.
The two Hawker Hurricanes and four Supermarine Spitfires made their way to the Benson base from the west over Didcot and Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and left to the east towards Henley.
It was part of a squadron of 40 World War Two aircraft that flew over airfields linked to the three-month-battle in 1940.
The aircraft flew over RAF Benson at about 3.15pm
