FATHER Christmas arrived in style to launch the festive season at Notcutts Garden Centre in Nuneham Courtenay.
He arrived by horse-drawn carriage on Sunday to open his grotto at the garden centre.
Emma Gover, operations manager at Notcutts, said: “It was a fantastic family day out and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming families back into his grotto, and for breakfast and tea with Santa from late November onwards.”
Speaking after the event, Father Christmas said: “It was lovely meeting all the local children and families. I’m resting the reindeer as they are going to be very busy this Christmas. There have been a lot of good children so there are even more presents to deliver.”
Tickets cost £7.50 and children should be accompanied by an adult.
