YOUNGSTERS enjoyed the school half term holidays by making mud pies in the wintry weather.
Mud Pie Monday, a day in which children can get covered in muck without their parents telling them off, saw Oxfordshire kids enjoy the dirt in the sunshine.
The event took place in the surrounding woodland of the Earth Trust Centre in Little Wittenham, South Oxfordshire.
Grandmother Julia West took along her two granddaughters Ruby, nine, and Lucy Dray, seven.
Mrs West said: "They absolutely loved it and they had great fun.
"We also went a built camps and rolled down the hill, we had a brilliant morning. I never thought that making mud pies would be so much fun for the children."
