A WOMAN and a child had to be rescued from a Jaguar following a three-car accident this afternoon.
The Jaguar collided with a Volkwagen Tiguan and a Peugeot 508 on the B4009 Chinnor Road, Aston Rowant, at about 4pm.
Police, fire crews and paramedics attended and the road was closed shortly after 4.15pm.
A Thames Valley Police spokeswoman said: "It sounds like part of the VW ended up on top of the Jaguar.
"It was quite a serious collision but everyone is out."
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) confirmed a woman and a child had been freed from the vehicle and taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.
The road is still closed now for the vehicles to be recovered.
