CHILTERN Railways is off track with its plan to lighten the mood of commuters with amusing quips from staff.
However light-hearted the intent, it will only ever come across as forced and scripted unless the staff in question are actually phemonenally talented comedians with natural wit.
And if so, why aren’t they on the stage?
