MOHIBUR RAHMAN, 46, of Cosin Close, Oxford, was convicted of permitting use of motor vehicle with no insurance on November 6 at Oxford. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

HAMIDA KHATUN, 48, of Cosin Close, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on November 6 in Cowley Road, Oxford. She was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

PETER CUNNINGHAM, 29, of Harding Close, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving on April 4 at Filkins, Oxfordshire, with 92mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ISUF LOKA, 50, of Neithrop Gardens, Banbury, admitted assaulting a woman on November 19 at Banbury. He was fined £500 and must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.

ERIC O’SULLIVAN, 51, of Bretch Hill, Banbury admitted drink-driving on April 4 in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, with 82mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85, and was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.

PATRICK FRITH, 65, of Francis Little Drive, Abingdon, was convicted of stealing an iPhone 6 in a pink leather case worth £577 on June 28 at Bampton. He was fined £200 and must pay compensation of £577 and court costs of £300.

MATTHEW BAGNALL-NEVERS, 29, of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, admitted stealing four bottles of Jack Daniels worth £127.50 from Sainsbury’s, Bonn Square, Oxford, and a further three bottles from Sainsbury’s on February 26 as well as burglary with intent to steal at the George Street Café on December 12, and being in breach of a previously imposed community order as well as possession of two wraps of heroin. He was jailed for 20 weeks suspended for two years and made subject to a community order to include a drug rehabilitation requirement for nine months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 35 days. He must also pay compensation totalling £1,327.50.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

ABBEY CLARKE, 20, of Great Western Drive, Didcot, was convicted of stealing a gold Samsung phone, worth £400, from a woman in Kennington on May 16. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £405 compensation.

SHOFIK TOWNSEND, 41, of Campbell Road, Cowley, admitted stealing a jacket worth £175 from JD Sports in the Westgate, Oxford on January 19 and stealing £22 of washing powder from Co-Op in Templars Square, Cowley on January 18. Community order made for drug rehabilitation for six months, £22 compensation.

TAYLOR JAMES BLOOMFIELD, 18, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted drug-driving and driving without a licence or insurance in Farringdon Road, Abingdon on November 18. Had 640 ug/l of Benzoylecgonine in blood. Fined £600, disqualified for 12 months, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs.

JAMES ALEXANDER ARCHER, 24, of Manning Close, Bloxham, was convicted of speeding at 46mph in a 30mph zone in Banbury Road, Oxford on June 25. Fined £440, £44 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Five penalty points.

MANUEL DE-GOUVEIA-NETO, 29, of Dene Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 63mph in a 50mph zone in Eastern Bypass Road, Oxford on September 13. Fined £160, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

EMMA LOUISE HEWLETT, 41, of Wynton Close, Didcot, was convicted of speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone on the B480, Chiselhampton on June 21. Fined £200, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Four penalty points.

NASIR ABDULLAH IDRIS, 29, of Oxford Road, Kidlington was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing and offence between August 14 and September 11. Fined £660, £66 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Six penalty points.
