A MUCH-LOVED family dog is still missing after being hustled out of a Faringdon home earlier this year with three other pooches.

Quincy the white Japanese Spitz dog was taken fromt the garden of Stephanie Blitz, 66, after thieves slashed open the fence on April 2.

Since then concerned dog lovers from all over Oxfordshire have pitched in to help with the family's frantic search, with Kira, five, later found in Templars Square retail park in Oxford and Primrose and Dulcie, one and three, found in Coventry.

But Mrs Bliss' daughter Carly Spratley said: "Unfortunately we haven't got anything more to go on at the moment.

"We are continuing with the Facebook appeal and just going down the usual avenues. We have had leads but nothing that has come to fruition."

She said police have now formally closed the case due to the lack of progress but added that the other three dogs were "absolutely fine" and had settled back into home life without a hitch.
