Four teenage boys have been arrested following an assault on a milkman in Chinnor, South Oxfordshire.

At about 12.10am on Monday, July 11, the 51-year-old victim was approached by a group of boys during his milk round.

They kicked his legs, causing him to fall, and then proceeded to kick him while he was on the ground.

The victim received several kicks to the head. He did not require hospital treatment.

Four boys, aged between 14 and 17, have been arrested in connection with the assault and released on police bail until 16 August.  

Investigating officer Insp Mark Harling said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information that could help with our investigation.
