Ambulance worker Sara McDonald was found dead after sending a "worrying text" to a colleague, Oxfordshire's coroner said.
An inquest was opened today into the death of the 45-year-old from Oxford Street, Woodstock, who died on July 12.
Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter said she had sent the text the previous day and when police were informed they classified her as a high risk missing person.
She had been urgently reffered to a community mental health team following a visit to her GP at the start of June.
The inquest opening at Oxford Coroner's Court heard that Ms McDonald, who was single, was discovered in Shotover Park and identified by a police officer on July 12.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death was hanging.
The inquest was adjourned until on November 16.
