FAMILIES and food lovers are licking their lips ahead of a stall-stuffed celebration of international cookery in Abingdon this weekend.
Abingdon Food Festival returns to the town bigger than ever this Saturday, at a new venue in Rye Farm Meadow.
The riverside event will unite 60 food and drink businesses who will set up from 10am, offering freshly-cooked dishes plus produce including cheese, chutney and chocolate.
Carol Hall and Allan Rickmann, members of the festival committee that has penned the event firmly on the county's culinary calendar, have been building excitement in Bury Street this week.
