OXFORDSHIRE has woken to snow this morning.

Readers have said West Oxfordshire has snow on the ground and snowfall was reported in Headington at 7.40am.

The current Met Office forecast is that there will be a little more snow over the next hour but then it will die off.

However in the south of the county you may just see some heavy snowfall at about 9am, according to forecasts.

Forecasters have changed their prediction for tomorrow, saying the heavy snow they believed was coming in tomorrow morning for parts of the county will now not arrive.

The west of the county might also only see a little bit of sleet early tomorrow morning.

Here's some of our readers' pictures. If you've got a snowy picture, tweet it to us via @TheOxfordMail
