Oxfordshire Trading Standards manager Richard Webb said: “Three quarters of fireworks accidents involve children and young people. We all want to enjoy fireworks but need to know they can be dangerous if not handled properly.”

Winning designs will be chosen from age groups four to seven and eight to 11 for a poster campaign next year.
