Alexandru-Stefan Todirisca, 32, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting footwear worth £199.94 from TK Maxx in Templars Square Shopping Park, Towns Road, Cowley, Oxford, on March 3. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Stephen Cooney, 45, of Henry Taunt Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted going equipped for theft after being found with a foil-lined bag in St Aldate’s, Oxford on March 12. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.

Carl Hatch, 37, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted possession of nine tablets of diazepam at St Aldate’s police station, Oxford on November 9. Fined £35, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £35 costs.

Patricia Lloyd, 45, of Hogarth Place, Abingdon, convicted of assault by beating in Didcot on December 6. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and a restraining order made. Also told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

Sorrel Cannon, 18, of Ribston Close, Banbury, admitted possession of cannabis at Banbury police station in Warwick Road, Banbury on February 1. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Alex Marshall, 18, of Westcote Close, Witney, admitted possession of cannabis at the Red Lion pub in Corn Street, Witney, on March 15. Also admitted criminal damage to the value of £65 to a police cell floor at Abingdon police station, Colwell Drive, Abingdon on March 16. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £65 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

James Scarrott, 19, of Springfield Park, Witney, admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty in Springfield Park, Witney on March 16. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Jonathan Trimble, of Royal Air Force and Brize Norton, Carterton admitted drink-driving in Bampton Road, Curbridge on March 16. Had 105 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £585, a £59 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 26 months.

Susan Hancock, 53, of Bloxham Road, Milcombe, near Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in public, namely Milcombe Main Street, and assaulting police constable Bromell in the execution of his duty on March 13. Given a two-year conditional discharge, fined £180 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

David Mason, 62, of Crown Road, Kidlington, admitted drink driving an S-Type Jaguar on Yarnton Lane, Kidlington on March 13. Had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £110, ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 18 months.

Andrew Wall, 32, of Stocks Lane, Carterton, admitted stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin, and two bottles of Taylors Port, worth £47.98, from Carterton Co-op on December 6, and two bottles of Smirnoff Vodka, worth £37, from the same store on December 7. Given a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £84.98 compensation.

Dorothy Beasley, 46, of Banbury Road, Bicester, admitted stealing £110 cash from Bicester Wilkinson, as an employee, across four occasions in October, November and December. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £110 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Jennifer Stangroom, 59, of Barleyfields, Didcot, admitted speeding over the 30mph limit on Headington Road, Oxford, on August 1. Fined £115, ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs, and licence endorsed with six points.

Lewis Bowsher, 32, of Windle Gardens, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis at Forge Place, Fritwell, near Bicester, on March 17. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Stuart Chamberlain, 34, of Westbury Crescent, Oxford, admitted speeding over the 40mph limit on the A40 near Great Milton on August 4. Fined £320 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.

Adrian Holland, 46, of Lobb Hill, London Road, Thame, admitted speeding over the 40mph temporary limit on the A40 at Great Milton on July 29. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £65 costs and licence endorsed with four points.

Paul Clarke, 32, Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted stealing two joints of meat worth £14 from Marks and Spencer in Bicester on March 19. Given a four-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months because of repeated dishonesty and because he was subject to court orders at the time. Also told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Ashley Crane, 18, of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating in Wellington Avenue, Banbury, on February 2. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Restraining order made banning contact with victim.

Leslie Harle, 53, of Warwick Road, Banbury, admitted stealing two ready meals and a bottle of wine worth £18.46 from Marks and Spencer in Banbury on December 31. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

Paul Hicks, 59, of Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton, admitted two counts of harassment by breaching a restraining order on March 3 and March 8 in Chipping Norton. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Brandon McElvaine, 23, of Freemans Road, Bodicote, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Springfield Avenue, Banbury, on March 19. Fined £75 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

Daniel Peplinski, 25, of Manor Road, Banbury, admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on March 31. Fined £20 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Sean Corrigan, 47, of Sycamore Gardens, Bicester, admitted drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Peregrine Way, Bicester, on November 26. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road. Had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given 10-week prison sentence because of a recently imposed disqualification and a second high alcohol reading in three months. Given 36-month driving ban.

Andrew Nesbit, 35, of Parsley Place, Banbury, admitted stealing goods worth £17 from the Texaco Service Station in Warwick Road, Banbury, on November 29. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £120 costs.
