OXFORDSHIRE will escape major rain, snow, and sleet this week, the Met Office said.
Forecaster Helen Roberts said last night: βIt should be getting dry by lunchtime Monday but may still be quite cloudy and cold in most of Oxfordshire and through the rest of the day. Tuesday and Wednesday should be dry too until towards the end of the day on Wednesday when there could be some rain and snow, but not much. Overnight on Wednesday and into Thursday some light rain is set to fall.β
Last night, north Oxfordshire had a yellow warning for snow but this is set to be lifted today.
Banbury, Chipping Norton and Witney could see snow, but this would clear during the day.
Temperatures are due to stay around 0C all week.
