THAMESÂ Valley Police defended its vetting process after revelations two senior officers did not have up-to-date records.
A nationwide investigation compiled last year but published yesterday revealed almost 30 senior police officers in the UK were not correctly vetted.
Thames Valley Poilce spokesman Chris Kearney said the officers in question were undergoing a change in role at the time and now had the correct vetting.
