Badvent suspect cleared by police

A MAN captured on CCTV at a gym when a car was stolen has been cleared of any involvement by police.
The man appeared in our Badvent Calendar on December 11 as Thames Valley Police appealed for information about the car theft outside a Banbury Road gym on August 17.
The 31-year-old man, who asked not to be named, went to St Aldates Police Station on Friday, December 28.
He said: “They arrested me and put me in a cell and left me in there for a couple of hours before they questioned me and realised it was not me.
“It was a bit of a nightmare.”
