OXFORD city voters have backed Labour's Tim Starkey in the Police and Crime Commissioner election but their cousins in the south have chosen Tory.
With four results to come in Tory Stansfeld has won nine districts and Labour's Starkey has taken three, including Oxford.
Results just in from the city had Mr Starkey win 5,580 votes. Anthony Stansfeld won 1,719 voptes, with Liberal Democrat John Howson in third with 1,416.
The two independent candidates beat UKIP's Barry Cooper. Geoff Howard won 1,067 votes and Patient Awe picked up 998. Mr Cooper won 539.
Voters in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse both cast the most votes for Mr Stansfeld.
In South Oxfordshire the votes were: Stansfeld 5,016; Howard 2,469; Starkey 2,068; Howson 1,588; Awe 1,131; and last Cooper with 1,047.
The figures we hae so far for the Vale are: Stansfeld 4,051; Starkey 2,457; Howard 2,141.
