THE mother of tragic musician Aaron Buron today said she was leaving God to deal with her son's teenage killer.
Cheers erupted from a packed public gallery as the jury delivered their unanimous verdict after just two hours at Oxford Crown Court this afternoon that Haydan O'Callaghan was guilty of murdering Mr Buron in Rose Hill on March 31.
And the 18-year-old gave Mr Buron’s family and friends the finger and made a gun gesture towards them after the verdict was read out.
Outside court, Mr Buron’s mother Eden said of O’Callaghan: “He will get his due.
“God has always helped me throughout my whole life.
“I place him in God’s hands and for God to deal with him.”
She added: “Aaron was a beloved son from the time he was born I was blessed to have him for 29 years and then he was taken away - stolen - from me.
“He was a loving son, caring, understanding, kind and that is one of the reasons why he died - because he was caring. The one he was protecting didn’t even care.”
Mr Buron’s 25-year-old brother Danny said: “Aaron was like a father to me, he raised me. I don’t carry a blade and I don’t understand why people do that.”
O’Callaghan, of Saunders Road, East Oxford, admitted stabbing Mr Buron on March 31, but denied murder.
The murder trial lasted five days.

I hope this murderer gets a full LIFE sentence, because that's what he did, he murdered a genuinely decent human being who is now missed by a lot of family and friends who loved him dearly.
As for the finger and gun gesture, sickening!
It speaks volumes about him trying to calm down a domestic argument, brave 'til the end.
R.I.P Aaron, you'll be missed in a way I can't put into words, love to you and family from me and the rest of the family.
