Suspected arson attack at Oxford tower block

A FIRE at an Oxford tower block this morning is being treated as arson by police.  

Firefighters were called to Foresters Tower in Wood Farm at 1.21am following reports of smoke coming from a second floor window.

Fire crews used hose reels, breathing apparatus and special appliances including a hydraulic platform to extinguish the fire in a bedroom in the tower block.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured.

Police suspect arson and investigations continue.
