Police close Park End Street as they deal with Swindon Town fans

POLICE have closed Park End Street in Oxford as they deal with visiting Swindon Town fans ahead of tonight's game against Oxford United.

There was a heavy police presence at the city's train station this afternoon as officers waited for visiting fans.

An eye witness said a large number of Swindon fans had moved into Park End Street and police had just closed off the Duke's Cut end.

Oxford United and Swindon Town play tonight in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the Kassam Stadium. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
