Two men appear in court accused of alleged child sex ring offences

TWO Oxford men have been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with involvement in an alleged child sex ring in the city.

Mohammed Hussain, 24, and Assad Hussain, 31, today appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.

The 24-year-old is charged with one count of conspiracy to rape a girl under 14 years old, two counts of rape, and one count of sexual activity with a child.

And the 31-year-old is charged with two counts of conspiracy to rape a girl under the age of 16 years, and two counts of rape.

Eight people have now been charged under Operation Bullfinch after police investigating alleged child sex trafficking swooped in dawn raids across Oxford in March.

And all of them will appear at the Old Bailey next month.
