Two in hospital after crash on Oxford's ring road

A MOTORIST was rescued by firefighters after two cars crashed on Oxford's ring road this morning.

The crash happened on the stretch from Headington to Cutteslowe at around 1.30am.

One person had to be rescued from their car by the fire service and was cared for by paramedics along with another casualty.

Both were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and were described by the ambulance service as being in a “serious but stable” condition.
