SHOPPERS in Oxford’s Broad Street were presented with the sights and sounds of Marrakech and Fez, yesterday, as the Moroccan Market of Handicrafts set up shop.
For the second year the city is playing host to traders from North Africa, with 36 stalls selling everything from leather to woodwork and ceramics. The market continues until tomorrow.
Imad Eddine Dably was playing a traditional Moroccan bass guitar.
He laughed: “The atmosphere has been good – but not the weather!”
He is pictured, right, with percussionist Youssef Mestouri.
