Martin Alder, 23, of Ablett Close, Oxford, admitted stealing a bag worth £3,720, £500 cash, a mouth organ, keys, photos of the victim as a child, papers about the victim’s birth mother, £160 Evisu jeans and a £20 T-shirt last April. Given a 14-week jail term, suspended for a year, with 80 hours’ unpaid work. Must pay £720 compensation.
Marc Stewart, 29, of Pottery Piece, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen on October 13. Fined £320, a £15 victim surcharge and £125 costs. Given year’s driving ban.
Christopher Steane, 47, of Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Sutton Courtenay in January. Had 82 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath (legal limit is 35mg). Fined £500, £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
Omar Noman, 55, of Delamere Way, Cumnor Hill, admitted breaching a restraining order between March 8 and 13 by emailing four people. Fined £1,000, £2,000 compensation, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs.
Martin Tarzam, 35, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating, breaching a restraining order and a suspended sentence by commission of a further offence. Jailed for 14 weeks.
Thomas Churton, 21, of Queensway, Didcot, admitted possessing 29.87g of cannabis with intent to supply. Given sixteen hours at attendance centre.
