Free chance to get in the swim

THE Big Splash Oxford Swim Sunday takes place tomorrow, with free swimming and fun sessions at pools around the city.
Sessions are taking place at the Barton, Blackbird Leys, Ferry and Temple Cowley pools.
The aim of the day is to encourage more people to take up swimming.

Looks like someone has complained about me pointing out that the local IWCA councillor for Northfield Brook has been campaigning to prevent a brand new swimming pool from being built in BBL.
Or perhaps it's because I've pointed out that the IWCA councillor for Northfield Brook has, according to the IWCA website, decided not to stand at the local elections this year before the story was published in the paper...
