Michael Bourke, 44, of no fixed address, admitted persistently using a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety in Oxford between October 22 and 24. Jailed for 20 weeks “because of persistent offending of same nature and also within short time of release from custody”.

Michal Shatz, 37, of East Field Close, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence and without due care and attention on the A418 at Wheatley on July 25. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Rodney Rowe, 54, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Watlington on October 3. Told to participate in the Community Domestic Violence Programme for 36 days and undertake two years’ supervision. Given an indefinite restraining order against the victim and told to pay her £150 compensation.

Marrion Cobraretti, 38, of Toot Hill Butts, Oxford, admitted handling stolen goods, namely a £1,200 bicycle, on June 7. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and nine months’ supervision. Also £85 costs.

Andrew Leach, 28, of Ashdown Way, Grove, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Wantage on October 5, and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Omar Norman, 55, of Delamare Way, Cumnor Hill, Oxford, convicted of three counts of harassment by sending numerous abusive and insulting text messages, emails and phone calls, and distributing insulting leaflets, between May 2010 and March 2011. Told to pay £775 costs and given one-year restraining orders against the four people.

Max Bolton, 20, of Brogden Close, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Abingdon on October 7. Fined £80, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Warren Griggs, 21, of Wellington Close, Longcot, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of immediate unlawful violence in Shrivenham on October 8. Given 80 hours’ unpaid work, to pay £85 costs.

Alex Higgs, 19, of Osborne Close, Kidlington, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Kidlington on September 8. Fined £30 and a £15 victims’ surcharge Jerzy Kotwica, 30 of Oxford Road, Littlemore, admitted shoplifting food valued at £25.02 from Tesco in Oxford on October 8. Fined £60 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Yvonne Kayitesi, 44, of Bartholomew Road, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence in London Road, Oxford, on June 7. Fined £75, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Four penalty points.

Suzanne Moore, 45, of Westfield Road, Witney, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on June 19. Fined £375, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs. Also told to pay £150 compensation.

James Andrews, 22, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted interfering with a motor vehicle in Oxford on October 1 and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Given a year’s supervision and must do 40 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to pay £78 compensation.

Owen Brown, 44, of Shortbrook Road, Sheffield, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on September 7. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.
