A GROUP of “much loved” ducks have been stolen from a home in Oxford.
Three Cayuga ducks worth more than £100 were taken from the garden of the house off Horspath Road sometime between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on December 18.
Police have just released details.
Heavy snow meant footprints were found coming into and leaving the garden from the nearby Shotover nature reserve.
PC Rebecca Froud said: “These animals are not capable of flying, so the owner knows they haven’t simply flown away.
“They are very distinctive and were much loved pets of their owners.
“I would urge anyone who knows of their whereabouts, or who knows anything about their theft, to come forward and speak to me as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call PC Froud on 08458 505 505, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
