NEIGHBOURS believe they had a lucky escape yesterday after this car, right, rolled down a hill and smashed into a garden wall.
Police said they were in the process of contacting the owner of the car, a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
It is not known where the car was parked, but it ended up on its roof outside a house in Hurst Rise Road, at the bottom of Cumnor Hill, near to Matthew Arnold School.
Neighbour Roger Wren, who lives about 200 yards away, said: “I didn’t see it happen to be honest, but the end situation looks quite dramatic.
“It is just lucky there was no-one inside it.
“It’s made quite a mess.”

... Or perhaps it was unlucky that there was no one in it, as I'm sure if someone was they would have noticed it rolling down the hill and pulled on the handbrakes!!!
