A CYCLIST who attacked a lorry after believing the driver was beeping at him is sought by police.
The lorry was traveling along Ducklington Lane, Witney, at around 3pm on May 9, when he sounded the horn at a fellow lorry driver.
A cyclist riding in front of the lorry thought the driver was beeping at him and flew into a rage.
He slowed down in front of the lorry, prompting the driver to stop, then began yelling abuse at the driver and hitting the vehicle.
The cyclist damaged a spotlight and the grill on the front of the lorry before taking off.
Police released CCTV today.
Investigating officer, PC Adam Taylor of the Investigation Hub based at Witney Police station, said: "We have released CCTV images of a man who we believe may have vital information to assist us in our enquiries.
"We would ask anyone with information to please come forward and call 101."
