OXFORD motorists endured weeks of traffic mayhem in and out of the city as Oxfordshire County Council completed improvement work at Frideswide Square recently.

The goal behind the seven-week project was to see new kerbs and pavements laid after they were 'significantly damaged by unlawful driving.'

Now it would seem more bad driving is plaguing the square, which initially had a price tag of £6.7m.

This photo was taken last week of two of the metal road signs seemingly knocked down by a passing motorist.

Oxford Mail:

As of this morning, it has not been repaired.

To date there have been five separate stabs at repairing kerbs and pavements.

Oxfordshire County Council has been contacted for comment.
