JUNIPER lovers will jump at the chance of exploring a gin distillery for free.
The Oxford Artisan Distillery (TOAD) will hold an open day on Sunday, inviting supporters to embrace the celebratory spirit alongside its founder and master distiller.
Based in South Park, the alcohol experts opened the centre in July and said they have had a 'stonkingly good' initial response.
Founder Tom Nicolson will enlighten gin enthusiasts by running guided tours, which usually cost £50, with master distiller Cory Mason.
Mr Nicolson said: "[The open day] is a celebration of TOAD's stonkingly good start since our opening in July.
"We are deeply grateful for the very warm reception that Oxford has given to the distillery since the launch.
"We thought we would fling our doors open and say come along, meet the team and have a good look around."
The open day runs from 11am until 5pm and visitors will be able to buy TOAD gin and tonics, cocktails, locally-brewed beers and bottles of booze from midday, soaked up with sour dough pizzas.
Car owners from the Morgan Sports Car Club and Iffley Motor Club will also take part, displaying their classic models outside.
The distillery, which also produces vodka, gin, absinthe and rye whisky, has asked attendees to sign up via spiritoftoad.com/open-day.
