FAMILY and friends came together on Sunday to remember siblings Anum and Majid Khan with a charity tournament at Horspath Cricket Club.
This month marks 20 years since the brother and sister, who were just nine and 15-year-old, died when their East Oxford home was set on fire.
The event, which included a BBQ and ice cream van, raised £3,100 for Cancer Research UK.
The pair’s sister Nazmeen Ahktar, 39, said the turnout had been ‘amazing’ and on behalf of the family thanked all the cricket teams who played and the volunteers who helped out on the day.
She added: "We did this because Majid loved cricket and the atmosphere has been incredible.
"It's been a real celebration of their lives."
The High Wycombe Kashmiris faced off against The Tigers in the final, with the latter team, made up of many of Majid's school friends, crowned the champions.
