A CHURCH in Carterton raised funds for a children's charity with their annual Christingle Service.
The service was held in St John the Evangelist Church on Sunday and included a comedy drama performance on the significance of the Christingle by the Rev Ian Howard and Lyndsay Baker.
Everyone was given a Christingle to take home and place in their window with volunteers distributing some of the remaining Christingles to patients at Witney Community Hospital.
The church will host its family crib service on Christmas Eve at 5.30pm, with guests invited to come along in nativity costume.
