The 10th season of Oxford Fashion Week kicks off this evening at Town Hall, with shows at 6pm and 8pm showcasing ground-breaking designers.
The early show debuts the Independent Collections which feature ‘ready-to-wear’ designs from local retailers and boutiques. Designers included in this show are Olivia May, Lavinia Cadar, Karen Millen, East and Moss Bros.
At 8pm is the Concept + Couture show, which features designers Hellavagirl, Kraken Counter Couture, Crease, Dumpster Design, Constance Blackaller, Katie McGuiagan and Omar Mansoor.
Kraken Counter Couture will be presenting their ‘K’ sizing system which is uniquely tailored to transgendered women.
Dumpster Design will send a dress down the runway made entirely of discarded materials.
There is a black-tie party after the show with a silent auction which will donate its proceeds to Oxfordshire Youth.
The Face of Oxford Fashion Week, Anya Conlon, will strut the catwalk after being announced as the winner of the Face competition on Monday evening.
