A WOMAN who murdered her 20-month-old daughter then fled to Africa will be sentenced at the Old Bailey in London today.

Angela Whitworth, 44, of Bicester, killed Sarah Dahane at their home in Herald Way on May 15, 2013.

Oxford Mail:

Sarah’s body was found in the house a day after Whitworth fled to Nairobi in Kenya.

Earlier this year Thames Valley Police launched a public appeal to find Whitworth and a £10,000 reward was put up for any information that would lead to her arrest and conviction.

Ugandan National Police arrested Whitworth just two weeks later on March 9 this year, then she was brought back to Britain and charged with murder.

She pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey on August 26 and will be sentenced there today.

The hearing was originally set for October 4 but was postponed.
