A TAXI was engulfed in flames at the Milton Interchange this morning.
The Go Green taxi caught fire about 8.30am heading onto the roundabout from the A4130 Abingdon Road.
Go Green Taxis marketing assistant Hannah Wilcock said: “We want to clarify that nobody was hurt or injured in the incident and we thank the fabulous first responders of the police and fire service for getting to the scene so quickly.
“This fire is something that has never happened before and something that we never want to happen again.
“Thanks for your kind words and support.”
The car fire caused delays in the area as queues backed up both on the A34 and A4130.
Thames Valley Police confirmed nobody was injured in the fire and the fire was cleared up by 11am.
