A SERVICE marking the centenary of the birth of former prime minister Harold Wilson will take place this weekend.
Wilson, prime minister from 1964 to 1970 and from 1974 to 1976, was educated at Oxford University and regularly attended Oxford Liberal Club meeting before joining the Oxford Labour Club in his thirties.
The commemoration service will be hosted at Christ Church Cathedral.
Members of the public are welcome and should arrive at 2.45pm for a 3pm start.
