Israr Ali, 25, of Gillet Road, Banbury, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention on January 31 2015. The defendant drove too fast for the conditions and was unable to stop safely in the distance he could see to be clear, almost colliding with a police vehicle. This caused the driver of the police vehicle to brace for an expected impact. Fined £225. Ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £23 and costs of £350 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

James Cumiskey, 37, of Linacre Close, Didcot, pleaded guilty to using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance on August 4. Fined £340. Ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £85.

Robert Robinson, 45, of Eagles, Faringdon pleaded guilty to exceeding a 30 mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order on November 9 last year. Fined £320. Ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and costs of £85.

Wendy Greatbatch, 46, of St Leonards Close, Banbury, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
