A traffic light has been fixed in Botley Road after it was hit by a vehicle this morning.

The road was blocked this morning after the incident near to the Osney Arms.

Oxfordshire County Council spokeswoman Emily Reed said: "The Botley Road traffic lights have had to be switched off after a vehicle collision in the early hours of this morning. 

"While a permanent fix is being arranged, three-way temporary traffic signals will be put in place." 

There has also been a traffic light failure on Gipsy Lane at Roosevelt Drive, near to Cheney School, but but it has now been fixed.

Thames Valley Police have been contacted for comment.
