Flood warnings across Oxfordshire have been issued by the Environment Agency as the county braces itself for a battering from Storm Imogen.

Warnings are in place from Buscot Wick down to Kings Lock, above Oxford.

The Environment Agency said although propertly flooding is not expected, the levels of the Thames will rise and could lead to flooding of low lying land and roads.

Warnings are also in place for Wolvercote down to Radley and Jericho.

The Met Office has also warned of heavy downpours and potential for disruption to travel as well as possible damage to trees and structures and interruption of power supplies.
