A GROUP of travellers who camped on the Marston Ferry Road cycle track for more than a month have now left.
Oxfordshire County Council brought court proceedings against the travellers, who set up camp on the road on Sunday, October 11.
Justices of the Peace at Oxford Magistrates' Court issued a Section 78 order to the travellers to vacate the land by noon today. They have now moved on.
The county council gave the travellers a direction to leave on October 24, but the group refused to budge.
It is understood the county council has received complaints about parked cars creating a hazard for cyclists, and concerns about large amounts of rubbish being left.
