A man needed hospital treatment last night after suffering chest and arm injuries at a house in Jericho.

Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said officers were called to the home in Cranham Terrace at 8.45pm following reports of a "fear for welfare" incident involving a man in his 30s.

She added: "No one else was involved and no one has been arrested."

South Central Ambulance spokeswoman Catherine Morrow said: "One patient was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with chest and arm injuries."
