A MERCEDES rolled and crashed into trees on the A34 on Thursday night, injuring four people.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the northbound carriageway between Kidlington and Bicester just after 11pm.

One person managed to escape from the car, which was the only vehicle involved, but fire crews had to rescue two others. It is not known about the fourth person. A South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said four ambulance crews, a doctor and an officer were dispatched to the scene.

She confirmed four patients were treated and taken to the John Radcliffe hospital, though their ages, genders and condition were not known.
