Man rescued from house fire in Wood Farm
A man was rescued from a house fire in Bonar Road, Wood Farm on Friday .
Fire crews from Slade Park and Rewley Road saved the man from his ground-floor flat at about 2pm after an Oxford City Council worker heard the smoke alarm going off.
The resident was taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has only just released details of the incident.
