A CANNABIS farm and a suspected drug den in Oxford have been raided by police.
Growing equipment and 18 plants were seized at a property in Hawthorne Avenue, Headington, on Tuesday. Police estimate the street value was about £10,000.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the property and has been released on police bail. And a second warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was carried out at a home in Turner Close, Oxford, on the same day.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs after police found a large quantity of cannabis. He has subsequently been released on police bail.
The warrants were carried out under Operation Bilbo.
Sgt Gordon Kille said: “Drugs are a huge priority for the team and we will continue to crack down on those supplying and trading in them.”
